A rich background in both scientific research and program management provide a strong foundation for identifying, clarifying, and implementing innovative solutions across government, industry, and academia. Expertise spanning peripheral nerve interfaces, neuronal biophysics and various facets of molecular and cellular biology, coupled with a perceptive communication style and experience with disparate funding agencies, position me as a leading advocate for best practices in science and technology development.Currently serving as the Acting Director in the Health Science Futures office at the Advanced Research Projects Agency for Health (ARPA-H). I previously held the role of Senior Advisor at ARPA-H and have a notable history with the National Institutes of Health (NIH) as a Program Officer. My career also includes significant contributions as an Associate at Booz Allen Hamilton, where I supported DARPA with technical expertise and program development. My foundational research, including postdoctoral work at Northwestern University and Urogenix Inc, underscore my deep understanding of neural circuitry and electrophysiology. My educational background includes a PhD in Neuroscience from the Uniformed Services University and dual Bachelor\'s degrees in Neuroscience and Psychology from Brigham Young University.
