About Tyler Aubrey
I am a San Diego native with a passion for football, board games, spreadsheets, and financial planning. I worked for four years at a large Government contractor and found it wasn\'t the career meant for me. I first discovered my passion for financial planning while creating a financial plan for my wife and me to purchase our first home together. The plan was a success and shortly after we closed escrow on our new home, I defined a plan to earn my CFP® Certification and began to pursue my dream career of becoming a financial planner. My path into financial planning led me to join and later become a partner in a fee-only RIA, Define Financial!I now help 100+ families around the country optimize their taxes, investments, and retirement plans so they can spend more time enjoying what they\'ve worked so hard to achieve without overpaying the IRS.
