Lead all efforts for two Children’s Miracle Network peer-to-peer fundraising programs: Dance Marathon and Extra Life.Coach, mentor, and support student leaders from 16 collegiate Dance Marathon programs in their peer-to-peer fundraising, leadership development, strategic planning, recruitment, corporate partnerships, special events, stewardship, and more. Create a robust community of gamers and streamers through our Extra Life program, while offering new ways to engage with the hospital and activating them to give back in a way that is meaningful to them.Develop sustainable systems and processes to streamline team efforts so that programs can continue to grow and thrive each year, while allowing more time to provide exemplary stewardship for our supporters. Collaborate with a wide range of stakeholders in developing strategic plans and goal setting that will help set constituents up for success into the future.

ABOUT TYLER ADAMS
Our ability to overcome our greatest obstacle and navigate the most treacherous waters oftentimes leads us to our greatest rewards. Although we may not fully understand why we are being tested and pushed to our limits, there is always a reason. Sometimes it takes years, even decades, to fully form, but our destiny will present itself someday. For me, that journey began when I was 14-years-old. Before his second birthday, my younger brother was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia. To this day, I still remember the exact moment when I was given that dreadful news. I could probably walk you back to that very bench where my mom sat me down to break the news. That memory is so vivid for me and has stuck with me since that fateful day. For our family, this was the darkest moment of our lives. But we were not in the dark for long. Since the moment of his diagnosis, several beacons of hope entered our lives in the form of people, support systems, organizations, and programs designed to connect us with others who were going through similar tribulations. Although I couldn\'t put a label on it in terms of career aspirations, I knew at that moment that I wanted to be just like those people, and dedicate my life to helping others. Today, I\'m proud to say my brother beat his cancer and is a survivor. As for me, I\'ve found a wonderful career path in the nonprofit sector. I even went back to school to get my Master\'s degree in Nonprofit Management. Working for several organizations that focus on children\'s health and cancer research has been a dream come true for me, and even during my time working in higher education, I have found ways to stay connected to the cause. For me, this is more than a career. This is my calling. The destiny I envisioned for myself since I was that 14-year-old boy being given the darkest news of my life. If we persevere, follow our true north, and put in the work to achieve our goals, great things await on the other side.
