Supervises and leads the district\'s mental health and substance use prevention specialists.Supports members of the health services program as well as school counselors.Identifies the social-emotional and mental health programming needs of the district, and designs initiatives to address those needs.Oversees and partners with community agencies to develop and manage district mental health and substance use prevention initiatives and provide support resources to families.Provides ongoing consultation to educational teams, school counselors, mental health and substance use prevention specialists.Examines, develops and assists with the implementation of group based interventions to address school climate and barriers to academic performance. Prepares Board of Education reports.
