How can I get someone\'s attention?”Whether I was eight years old on the playground looking to make new friends or previously as a Resident Advisor at Chapman University, increasing social media engagement within the Chapman community by 274%, I have always been fascinated by advertising. Growing up, while watching TV, I would remain focused on the commercials rather than skipping through them. The slick cinematography, exciting music, and strategic messaging were often more compelling than the programs. That was when I knew I wanted to be part of the creative teams behind those advertising spots. As a Chapman University alumnus who double majored in \'Business Marketing\' and \'Public Relations, Advertising, and Entertainment Marketing,\' I have already been exposed to the complex world of consumers, consumer choices, and competition. I am fascinated by how some companies build robust followings while others fall short and fade away. The difference often has less to do with the actual product or service and more to do with the branding and publicity. By combining my two majors, I will be empowered to help companies identify customer needs, create original and well-thought-out campaigns, and successfully land their target audiences.
