As director, plant manager, I have been able to take a profitable business unit & enhance its operational execution to consistently deliver results across all areas of operational excellence. • Managed full P&L with annual $30M Budget /$110M Revenue /$2M CAPEX Budget • Transformed HSE culture from cop and discipline mentality to collaborative and risk-based thinking, culminating in in all leading safety indicators (observations, near miss/FA reporting, usage of stop work, audits, etc.) being up 250% YOY and longest stretch without significant injury in over 5 years hours / 200 days and counting) • Navigated COVID Pandemic through employee engagement to basic protocols – no EE to EE transmission despite >25 positive cases onsite. Moved assembly lines, changed schedules and layouts to allow for social distancing and prevent COVID quarantines from negatively impacting operation. • Through laser focus on strategic defect and operator error elimination, achieved FPY improvement of 2.5% in under 1 year and YOY COPQ reduction of 50%/$700K YOY • Implemented 3-year plan to eliminate single points of failure prioritized by risk level based on Operational Continuity Risk Assessment • Company Lean “Light House” project site implementing entire assembly line redesign to achieve 1 pc flow across all small electric actuation (>25% through put increase) • Implemented plant wide 6S approach, systematically completing (2) 6S Kaizen events/month until entire shop completed, and all onsite personnel participated. • Successfully launched & ramped up production of new product – MXb Electric actuator - via developing manufacturing strategy, supply chain, & SOPs • Established Inventory and Working Capital Management discipline – inventory reduction of 20%/$4.5M YOY • Developed 5-year plant strategies and milestone action plans using Hoshin Kanri Method
