About Tyler Thompson
For public safety, Emergency Communication Center operations are evolving. For example, analog to digital transformation for voice communications, moves from on-premise systems to cloud-native offerings, the use of AI/ML, IoT sensors, mobile apps, location intelligence, and increased access to time sensitive critical information/data streams are all on the rise. Access to, as well as AI translation of, this time-sensitive critical information can significantly reduce the burden on already overloaded resources. It can also bring to personnel the key information they need, when they need it, expediting decision making, reducing response times, ultimately saving more lives and property. Rather than a myriad of silo\'d applications, the need for aggregation and ease of use for the many voice and data streams impacting call takers and dispatchers is desperately needed. While I don\'t believe we will ever achieve a \"single pane of glass\", the need for platforms to help manage and present the copious amount of data available to its many users is needed. This is my focus and goal.
