My role as a Natural Resource Specialist for TWI is focused on restoration and preservation of river, stream, and wetland habitats. My main duties consist of land management, riverbank stabilization, and wetland delineations. I work with a team in managing several properties to help promote the growth of native plants and optimize wetland conditions. This work also leads to management of riparian, upland, and forested habitats. For our riverbank stabilization work I assist with topographic surveys and construction staking. When performing wetland delineations, all work is done in accordance with the 1987 Corps Wetland Delineation Manual.
