About Tyler Simmons

I use to love managing on a crazy Friday night in the restaurant industry. I really did love it. Don\'t get me wrong, I know its not rocket science and I know I wasn\'t managing a fancy high-end restaurant, but I loved it and I do miss it. It takes a collective group of people to come together to pull it off smoothly. Everyone matters. The cooks, servers, bar-backs, dishwasher, bartender, runner, expo and so on. Everyone has to rely on each other to make sure they put out the best possible product. Teamwork. Teamwork. Teamwork. It matters, and makes the difference. But my favorite part, after making sure everything was operating smoothly, was the customers. I loved looking around the packed patio or dining room and knowing everyone. Not just recognizing their face, but actually knowing them. Knowing where they liked to sit, or anticipating what they wanted as their next drink. Asking about their family or just getting to know them. Or even saving the last piece of carrot cake because you know its their favorite and their birthday is coming. It all matters. Whether I realized it or not at the time, these little touch points made a huge impact, and I was good at creating them. Moral of the story is, I found a passion for building relationships and selling experiences. I want to get to know you, learn about your business, learn about your struggles, and cultivate a trusted relationship with you and make a positive impact. Let\'s get started.
