ABOUT TYLER SELBY
14 years of hospitality experience with a degree in Hospitality Management from Johnson and Wales University. The first 6 years I spent as a fine-dining catering server for Frungillo Catering supporting 200-400 people weddings mostly. I had two Disney Internships, one as a culinary cook during the Epcot Food and Wine festival where we were responsible for serving thousands of guests each day. The other internship was as a front of house host at Kouzzina by Kat Cora a Greek themed restaurant at Disney’s boardwalk resort. Since 2014 I have been working at Universal Studios Orlando Florida and the last 3 years have been as an Assistant Restaurant Manager at Pat O’Brien’s on Universal Citywalk that averages between 3 and 5 million dollars each year. I came to work in Orlando because of the emphasis the theme parks have on providing a quality guest experience. I believe that the trips families make here can be life changing, as they were for me, and so helping create memories that will last a lifetime is what drives me. I’ve found myself to be an accurate forecaster in revenue from the day, week, month and year, something I took great pride getting to understand.
