My background includes a variety of public accounting/real estate accounting experience. After working fulltime at Crowe Horwath in our Financial Institutions practice auditing financial institutions clients, I worked as a staff accountant at a Global 500 healthcare organization (Fresenius Medical Care) at our North Division headquarters as a Property Accountant, responsible for property accounting related issues for over 600 clinics. Following my time at Fresenius, I spent 6 years at Ventas (a large healthcare REIT) as a senior property accountant with a wide range of property accounting/financial reporting responsibilities. After 6 years at Ventas I moved to Brookfield Properties-Retail as a Senior Property Accountant focusing on preparing financial statements, account recs, JV reports, audit support etc. for a shopping malls. In November 2021 I relocated back to Cleveland from Chicago to join the Brookfield Properties-Office team as an Accounting Manager.
