ABOUT TYLER ROY
Hi, I’m Tyler. I hold an Associate of Arts degree from Doral College and will begin my Bachelor’s in Business Administration there in August 2025. My long-term academic goal is to pursue a Master’s in either Business Administration or Public Administration to expand my skills in leadership, policy, and organizational management.I have hands-on experience working in education, student leadership, and operations across multiple organizations. At Somerset Academy Central Miramar, I serve as a Student Advisor to School Administration, representing over 1,100 students across three campuses and collaborating closely with school leaders to address student needs, plan events, and provide input on policies and initiatives. I also work in School Operations & Special Projects and as Assistant Activities Director, where I manage event logistics, oversee safety and communications systems, support enrollment and registration, coordinate graduation ceremonies, and assist with charter school renewal efforts.In addition to my work in K-12 education, I currently serve as President of the Doral College Student Government Association, where I lead student representation, sponsor proposals, and guide initiatives that strengthen the student experience. This role has further developed my leadership, collaboration, and organizational management skills while giving me the opportunity to advocate on behalf of my peers at the college level.I also bring strong experience in project management, from coordinating campus-wide initiatives and student-focused programs to developing systems that improve efficiency and school culture. My ability to balance multiple priorities, manage deadlines, and bring teams together has allowed me to deliver successful outcomes in both academic and extracurricular settings.I’m passionate about marketing, leadership, and public service. I thrive in environments where I can collaborate with others, solve problems, and bring creative ideas to life. My ultimate goal is to use my education and experience to make a meaningful impact in leadership roles across education, public service, or business.
