ABOUT TYLER ROMERO

I am a process engineer with a Bachelor of Biomed Engineering degree from California State University, Long Beach. I currently work as an engineer at Amgen, a leading biotechnology company, where I apply my skills and knowledge in purification to develop and optimize biopharmaceutical products.Before joining Amgen, I was a research associate at Armata Pharmaceuticals, Inc, where I contributed to producing and purifying bacteriophage, a novel, and promising therapeutic agent. I also worked as a manufacturing associate at Avid Bioservices. I coordinated with various departments, analyzed and resolved complex issues, and purified antibodies and enzymes using chromatography and filtration techniques. In both roles, I maintained strict compliance with GMP/GDP practices, performed operations according to SOPs and BPRs, and communicated clearly and professionally with clients and management. I am motivated by the potential of biotechnology to improve human health and well-being, and I am eager to learn from and collaborate with diverse and talented teams.
