About Tyler Potter

I graduated from the University of Wisconsin Platteville where I obtained a degree in Sustainability and Renewable Energy System with the emphasis in Design and Analysis. I decided to go after a degree in a field for which I have a great passion for. Since I was little I have always sought to do something in life that would make a big impact and for me Sustainability and Renewable Energy System was my calling. I feel that within the field of Sustainability and Renewable Energy Systems I can make my biggest impact and potentially be a part of a solution that benefits our future generations to come.I started my career in the LED lighting industry where I successfully managed projects ranging from $10K to over a Million dollars. I have since transitioned to my current role as Project Manager for SunPeak who specializes in EPC Solar projects in C&I sector. I have my hands in all phases of the solar process but my main focus is in the execution phase of the projects. I manage procurement, permitting, preconstruction and oversee the construction process for all projects. I strive to improve existing processes through lessons learned to maximize the efficiency of every task. I have improved existing spreadsheets and cost codes to better track and forecast the projects cost projections. During construction I manage communication with all parties involved to ensure that client expectations are met.In Life there are many things that are not consistent and we cannot change. Change, however, is the most consistent thing in life. It\'s the ability to adapt that makes us special.
