I\'m a cybersecurity engineer with a strong focus on Governance, Risk, and Compliance. While my background includes hands-on technical work, I’ve found that I really enjoy building out the processes and programs that help teams stay secure and compliant. These days, most of my work revolves around audit prep, risk management, policy updates, and driving alignment with frameworks like ISO 27001, SOC 2, and CIS Controls. I\'ve led external pen tests, rolled out a GRC platform to streamline audits, and worked across teams to fix gaps identified through automated monitoring and tooling.

   Played a key role in leading audit efforts for successful ISO and SOC 2 Type II audits- Led the procurement and implementation of a GRC platform, reducing manual evidence collection and improving control visibility across teams- Partnered with teams to remediate compliance gaps identified through automated GRC monitoring and control tracking tools- Regularly reviewed and updated cybersecurity policies to ensure alignment with evolving compliance frameworks- Led the planning, coordination, and management of the external penetration testing program, ensuring comprehensive coverage and timely remediation of identified vulnerabilities- Investigated and triaged security alerts to assess severity, determine impact, and ensure timely response in line with defined SLAs- Reviewed and responded to reported phishing emails, determined legitimacy, and coordinated remediation efforts while educating users on identifying and reporting future threats.
