I value equity, collaboration, and creativity in the professional world. On a personal level, I appreciate puns, nature, curiosity, positivity, and sincerity. I practice personal reflection, patience, imagination and innovation regularly and I encourage my students to do the same. With an emphasis in Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) and exploratory or play-based lessons, students have an opportunity to grow deeper understanding of themselves, their peers, and the material within the lessons in my classroom. I have held positions related to working with children for over two decades and look forward to continuing a career in education for years to come.
