My role involves actively participating in discussions and decision-making processes that influence NCAA policies and initiatives, ensuring that the perspectives and needs of Patriot League student-athletes are represented and considered.In this capacity, I collaborate with fellow e-board members to review and provide input on proposed NCAA legislation, focusing on enhancing the overall student-athlete experience. I work to identify and address issues affecting student-athletes, advocate for their welfare, and promote initiatives that support their development both on and off the field.I facilitate communication between the Patriot League SAAC and the national SAAC, ensuring a seamless flow of information and feedback. This involves gathering insights and concerns from student-athletes within the Patriot League and presenting these to the national SAAC, fostering an inclusive dialogue that incorporates diverse viewpoints.Additionally, I lead and participate in initiatives that promote community engagement and leadership development among student-athletes. By spearheading projects that encourage service and outreach, I strive to cultivate a culture of involvement and responsibility within the student-athlete community.As a national SAAC e-board member, I am committed to upholding the values of the NCAA and the Patriot League, working tirelessly to enhance the student-athlete experience through effective advocacy, strategic planning, and collaboration with stakeholders at all levels.
