As a procurement intern at SAS I worked on creating the procurement team an audit compliance procedure incorporating industry best practices with SAS’ current procedures. After implementing the procedure, I have helped support analysts with various tasks and completed internal audit reviews. This project helped SAS procurement better keep, maintain, and enhanced the way the team stores contracts and supporting documentation. I also took on different assignments in the procurement cycle. Ranging from helping with contract terms and conditions, creating process flows on different functions for the department, and consulting on global policies and procedures.
