I define myself as a super people person - serving others has always been at the core of my professional career. My focus on helping others achieve their goals and unlock their potential gives me great purpose and joy, and I have proven success in developing corporate environments where culture, diversity and inclusivity foster authenticity in the workplace.Building Relationships: I have established trust across my network as a reputable source for strengthening employee relations and increasing engagement at their companies by focusing on cultural competencies. My time spent in youth development, financial sales, and event management have given me a wide range of experience in different industries and nonprofits. I consistently network and build strong connections with professional affiliation to many local Chambers in Kansas City.People Development: I am an experienced communicator among teams, connecting values and initiatives to employees and providing senior/executive leadership with cogent feedback on areas of improvement. I have coached direct reports and individuals on emotional intelligence, Gallup StrengthsFinder, and other personalized techniques to optimize their career growth objectives. I have worked closely with Human Resources and Public Relations to enhance benefits offerings and methods to attract and retain employees.Belonging and Inclusion: I believe that what makes us different makes us stronger. I have developed and implemented many strategies to engage underrepresented communities and amplify their voices within organizations, collaborating with internal teams to incorporate DEI principles into policies, practices and programs. I facilitate discussions and training sessions on various workplace topics such as unconscious bias, allyship, and cultural competency, with a specialty in leading workshops on LGBTQ+ topics such as gender identity and sexual orientation, working to promote understanding and create a welcoming environment. I identify gaps in organizational programming within the community, resulting in increased employee volunteerism, engagement and participation.
