   Since joining Validity I have had to wear many different hats. I started on a Salesforce app called Gridbuddy. While working on Gridbuddy I have helped with hiring, improved code standards, improved the database by leveraging Liquibase, and led the initiative for a rewrite to get rid of Angular.js. Helped improve the ci/cd process by using Github actions and Jenkins. For the last year and a half I have worked on an Electron app called Demand Tools. Demand Tools is an app that lets users work with their Salesforce account (and other CRMs) more easily.Implemented some best practices in Demand Tools that lead to faster development, debugging, and a more stable app.As a code owner I am responsible for all (front end) pull requests as well as front end requests for the other apps in a similar space.I write scoping documents for features related to the front end, create subsequent tickets, and groom and point the work.As a lead I often help coworkers with issues and find a way to help them get unstuck.Spearheaded various improvements including optimizing code standards, enhancing database efficiency using Liquibase, and leading a significant rewrite to eliminate Angular.js dependency.Streamlined CI/CD processes through the integration of Github Actions and Jenkins.Proficient in unit and snapshot testing using Jest with tests.Expertise in Angular.js (first version) and React, alongside Redux for state management and Node/Express server implementation.Leveraged Docker for containerization and Traefik for reverse proxy, ensuring application scalability and resilience.Utilized AWS Terraform for infrastructure provisioning and Swagger for API documentation.
