Recognizing a lack of prioritizing mental health and wellness in the law, I decided to start this committee with the goal of creating a platform that would better support the individualized needs of our student body.So far, we have- Created a separate committee to address Accessibility and Disability Accommodations- Established a Support Group for Students in Recovery- Developed a Food Pantry, free and accessible to all students, in order to materially address food insecurity- Organized a Mental Health Panel with local legal and clinical professionals- Created Collaborative Partnerships with Student Affinity Groups, to tailor student needs to the various identities and intersections of our students- Fostered an open collaboration with the school\'s administration about how best to provide resources to students at NEL|B.
