I’m a Sanctions Compliance Analyst at Barclays, providing advisory support to the business, conducting sanctions-related investigations, and contributing to the firm’s financial crime compliance framework.In this role, I work closely with the front office and legal to support sanctions risk assessments, assist with transaction reviews, and identify issues. The role involves careful analysis, clear written communication, and applying regulatory requirements to business activity in a practical and measured way.I have previous experience as a Macro and Treasury Compliance Analyst, supporting regulatory oversight across rates, FX, emerging markets, and treasury businesses. Before that, I worked on a team supporting the Swaps business, the Volcker Rule, and the Political Law compliance framework. These opportunities have enabled me to establish a solid foundation in financial regulation and risk management.I’m a graduate of the University of Richmond with a degree in Leadership and Philosophy, Politics, Economics, and Law (PPEL). My professional interests center on regulatory strategy, financial crime, and the intersection of law, policy, and financial markets.
