I work directly with architects, builders, and property managers to engineer integrated systems that enhance comfort, efficiency, security, and the overall human experience within the built environment.Key Responsibilities– Define the automation architecture across lighting, climate, energy, shades, security, audio, and environmental systems– Lead engineering design, documentation standards, and project technical oversight– Develop scalable frameworks and processes for system programming, commissioning, and lifecycle support– Oversee partner integrations and ensure cross-trade coordination with electrical, HVAC, and low-voltage teams– Establish quality benchmarks, reliability criteria, and post-occupancy “tune-up” protocols– Drive the long-term technical roadmap, including data infrastructure and intelligent control strategiesWhat I focus on– Making automation disappear through thoughtful engineering– Ensuring the building and its occupants—not the product catalog—dictate design– Removing integration friction for architects and builders– Delivering a smooth, consistent, and luxurious experience for end users– Building the internal systems that allow BAI to scale with precisionThe goal is simple: create buildings that feel better to live and work in—through automation that is engineered, not assembled.
