About Tyler Blau
I have 12 years of experience serving a wide variety of private enterprise clients in real estate and construction, manufacturing, and healthcare. I have significant experience with federal, state, and local tax filing requirements and issues on privately-held organizations and their shareholders/partners. My areas of specialization include providing advice and services on entity and individual taxation and Real Estate Funds with a large volume of partners. My role as a senior manager on engagements includes being the primary point of contact for all Deloitte tax services and assists the PPMD with oversight of tax teams across the US and abroad. In addition, I keep the client management team informed of tax law changes, identify planning opportunities, and advise on transactional matters. Within Deloitte, I have lead the roll out of a CPA licensure program for all of Ohio, I have served on the Central East Talent Engagement Committee, planned and lead our tax department golf outing for over 5 years, and created an entire summer learning series to help develop staff and seniors in areas of need. I am involved in the community through Northern Kentucky Young Professionals, NKU Alumni Association, Eastseals Redwood, Lighthouse Youth Services, and coaching my kids in multiple sports. I graduated from Northern Kentucky University in May 2013 Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Accountancy with a minor in Business Administration. I became a CPA in Ohio and Kentucky in 2015.
