Hello, my name is Tyler Biggs. I am a second-year Honors Finance student at Miami University, currently embarking on my collegiate academic journey. I take pride in excelling both inside and outside the classroom.Through my coursework, I have had the opportunity to collaborate with my peers to solve real-world business challenges in the coffee and industrial supply industries, through Rooted Grounds and Fastenal. Because of this opportunity, I have learned how to dive into a business and analyze their strengths and weaknesses.Beyond the classroom, I have spent time helping out my fraternity raise money for the Keep Going Foundation and for other fundraisers. Setting up events, creating posters, and posting on social media to spread the word about our fundraisers has been a priority to raise money for these foundations.I also have professional work experience. I have worked in the lawn service industry for many years, learning the industry and developing my skills. Eventually I took over the company and began running it myself. Through encounters with clients and employees, I have advanced my communication, leadership, and scheduling skills. This business gave me my first look into the business world.I am looking for a summer internship that would allow me to develop and utilize my skills.
