Software Engineering Managers at SunPower own the design, development, testing, deployment, and operation of the company’s software applications and systems. I am leading three teams: Virtual Power Plant (VPP), mySunPower, and PACE. VPP is a backend system that coordinates battery operation with utility companies to boost supply and earn customers money. mySunPower is SunPower’s user-facing application that powers a customer’s post-installation experience where they can view energy data and examine the operation of their system. PACE (predictive analytics for customer excellence) is a program focused on finding and mitigating customer issues before they are negatively impacted.
