As a Cyber Security Analyst 2 on the Plant Cyber Security Team, I specialize in defending critical infrastructure at a commercial nuclear facility using Trellix Enterprise Security Manager (ESM). My focus is on securing industrial control systems (ICS) and instrumentation technologies to ensure operational integrity, regulatory compliance, and the safe, uninterrupted operation of plant systems.Key Responsibilities:• Secure and monitor I&C systems, SCADA, DCS, PLCs, and smart sensors using Trellix ESM to detect and respond to threats in real time.• Analyze network traffic across OT and corporate zones for intrusions, anomalies, and policy violations using advanced correlation rules in ESM.• Lead incident response efforts, leveraging ESM to triage alerts, correlate logs, and preserve digital evidence in accordance with 10 CFR 73.54.• Audit access controls and system configurations to enforce least-privilege policies and monitor user activity across critical assets.• Maintain regulatory readiness by aligning plant cybersecurity controls with NRC standards, NEI 08-09, and NIST 800-82.• Support secure integration of digital systems, ensuring full visibility and telemetry through ESM log ingestion and configuration.• Manage portable media usage and field device access, enforcing malware prevention protocols through ESM tracking and reporting.• Integrate threat intelligence into ESM to enhance detection logic and continuously refine alerting strategies for ICS/OT-specific threats.
