TyJanae Quite is a recent LSU alumna with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science, concentrating in International Politics & Law. As a first-generation college graduate, she has consistently demonstrated a passion for advocacy, leadership, and community empowerment. TyJanae currently serves as a Legislative Intern on Capitol Hill, where she supports policy research, drafts constituent communications, and engages in the legislative process—further solidifying her commitment to public service and desire to pursue a career in law and policy. She brings with her a strong background in legislative support, public policy, and social justice. Her previous roles include interning with the Louisiana Center for Health Equity, where she focused on health policy affecting underserved communities, and serving as a Career Ambassador at the LSU Olinde Career Center, where she guided peers in professional development and networking strategies. In addition to her professional and academic experiences, TyJanae is the founder and President of The LSAT Collective, a nonprofit initiative providing free LSAT prep and mentorship to underrepresented students. Her long-term goal is to pursue a JD/MBA and become a civil rights attorney. TyJanae’s leadership, lived experiences, and policy focus make her a dedicated and mission-driven candidate eager to contribute to a team working to create a more just and equitable society.
