ABOUT TYE HUNT FITZGERALD
TYE HUNT FITZGERALD is a Toronto born reinforcement and conceptual sound designer based in New York City. Focused on telling varied stories and creating an immersive experience for the audience, Tye’s work helps connect the narrative to an audiences’ emotional and auditory memory in a soul stirring way. Working in Musical Theater, and New Dramatic Works, Tye’s resume includes The Vagrant Trilogy, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee The Full Monty, Slow Sound of Snow, The Laramie Project, The Catastrophe Club, Matilda The Musical, Deathbed Edition, War Boys, The Rare Biosphere, Someone Who’ll Watch Over Me, The Girl is Chained, Passion, An Enemy of the People, The Apple Tree, Lear, and more. Tye is a Sound Design graduate of the Yale School of Drama. When not working he can be found in his home studio, reading a New Yorker, or binge watching cooking videos.
