I am responsible for the security, compliance, and technological operation of ModSquad, an almost entirely on-line/virtual company with around Employees & contractors scattered around the world. My responsibilities include the design and creation of a comprehensive tech stack to accommodate the globally distributed workforce with the lightest touch as possible while still facilitating SOC2, PCI, and HIPAA compliance. This tech stack includes standards-compliant DaaS systems, advanced compliance/endpoint security systems, a global SASE/SD-WAN architecture, and heavy use of DaaS/SaaS software offerings. In addition, I\'m responsible for starting and driving the company\'s PCI/SOC2/HIPAA compliance efforts along with developing and advancing our Information Security program and security awareness program.
