Leading Student Voice and Wellbeing domain at Natwar Nagar Mumbai Public School- Conducting individual counselling sessions for children from Grades K-10- Supporting children for therapeutic intervention due to traumatic event/reported abuse - Regular classroom observations - identifying children with socio-emotional, behavioral and learning difficulties- Regular community visits - understanding the family, home environment, community and its dynamics and other aspects which affect the children- Conducting sessions each month on various SEL/life-skills as per developmental need of the class e.g, SEE Learning, Personal Safety Education, Gender and Sexuality, Risky Behaviours etc for Grades K-10- Capacity building of 30 teachers and 4 supporting staff to support 480 children in classrooms which include trauma informed practices, child development, safety and handling disclosure, student voice and facilitation skills- Collaborating with the school social workers to ensure necessary follow ups are done for individual counseling cases and for child safety cases- Coordinating with government hospitals for LD testing, psycho educational testing, Speech therapy, Occupational therapy and collaborating with external experts for counselling of cases of severe distress or abuse- Collaborating with 11 Counsellors and participating actively in opportunities for 16hrs of training each month, supporting each other and supporting network level by planning, designing modules, advocating and facilitating mental health related content.
