A career pharmacy scientist and Patient Concierge specialist, Dr. Faulkner draws on her specialized training in medicine and pharmaceutical science to provide concierge-level pharmaceutical support and counseling, patient navigation, and caregiver services. While services are available to all, its focus is preventive medicine, clients with chronic and degenerative illness, and the special needs of aging.Her of ‘service, first’ has helped her clients successfully manage their lifestyles and medical challenges which arise in the cases of chronic illness diagnoses.After a career in the pharmaceutical industry as a Medical Science Liaison, she was a supporter of graduate medical education for future and practicing radiologists. Dr. Faulkner is a Health and Wellness educator, a professional caregiver, a medical writer, and an insurance consultant.Dr. Faulkner is a native Virginian. She is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Howard University with a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Zoology with a minor in Chemistry. She earned her professional Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm.D.) degree from the University of Nebraska Medical Center and completed an ASHP-accredited residency at the University of Michigan Health System. A life of constant learning, Dr. Faulkner’s continued professional development includes Certificates of Advanced Professional Training from the Ohio School of Phlebotomy, the prestigious Harold P. Freeman Patient Navigator Institute, the American Pharmacists Association, the Nova Southeastern University Health Professions Division, the Society of Certified Senior Advisors (SCSA), Hondros College of Business, the Protocol School of Washington (PSOW), and America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).Among Dr. Faulkner’s specialty interests are Patient Navigation, Medication Therapy Management (MTM), Precision Medicine (Pharmacogenomics), Point-of-Care Testing, Cardiovascular (CV) Risk Management, Diabetes Care, Immunizations, and Physical Assessments.In her spare time, Dr. Faulkner supports various educational organizations, as well as the American Heart Association – American Stroke Association, the Brain Aneurysm Foundation, the Bee Foundation, Young Stroke, and Young Stroke Media.
