Waukegan School District #60 consists of 24 schools, K-12 students/1500 academic staff), 5 administration buildings (500 admin staff). One-to-one Chromebook from grades 6-12. Network infrastructure includes Cisco Meraki, Palo Alto Networks Cyber Security, HPE Intelligent Management Center, and Aruba Switches.> Certificate of Accreditation: Accredited Configuration Engineer (ACE) Exam - PAN-OS 8.1 > Certificate of Completion: Firewall Configuration & Management (EDU-210)> Manage an IT staff responsible for monitoring and diagnosing network and hardware problems.> Work closely with the IT executive staff and decision makers in other departments in order to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.> Manage E-rate Program for all District 60,(24 schools/K-12), in meeting budget and timeline requirements, for planning network infrastructure set forth by the program, Category 1 & 2.> Responsible for the management of the Networking budget (1.2M), ensure capture of contractual agreements and new capital expenditures for equipment and or projects, that support the District > Design and implement strategic plans to ensure network capacity meets existing and future requirements.> Architect and deploy advanced security protocols within our client’s cloud and local environments.> Performing diverse projects in the security area.> React to security incidents and develop protocols to mitigate future incidents.> Administer network security measures to prevent system interruptions or breaches.> Effectively apply PMI/PMP methodology with all projects
