About Tushar Rane
Scientist/Engineer with extensive experience in developing bioanalyte sensing technologies. Workexperience includes being a key member of the core team that developed one of the world’s first fewcommercially available spatial molecular imagers (CosMx) from inception to a commercial product. Myacademic training and professional work spans a wide range of areas including microfluidic technology,optofluidic systems, molecular biology, instrument and data analysis software. 1) Developed advanced analytical and image processing pipelines in Python for large-scale CosMxRNA assay datasets, identifying raw data features important for data quality improvement, currentlybeing incorporated into commercial CosMx software.2) Standardized and implemented a comprehensive run quality report for CosMx subsystems, which isnow the primary tool in the troubleshooting pipeline for addressing customer complaints.3) Conducted experimental analysis that uncovered insights into factors driving CosMx RNA assayefficiency and specificity4) Developed a strategic proposal for a novel CosMx assay mode, leveraging existing hardware tosignificantly expand the platform\'s range of applications and market potential
