About Tushar Sharma
I work in the NPI Device team at GlobalFoundries, focusing on FinFET technology—optimizing process parameters, interpreting electrical characterization data, and collaborating with Fab 8 Malta counterparts to guide data-informed improvements in device performance.Beyond the fab floor, I’m drawn to quantum transport and simulation, particularly NEGF-based modeling for nanoscale devices. I aim to bridge deep device physics with computational methods to better understand emerging semiconductor behavior.This direction stems from my prior work in materials modeling using DFT and EPW, where I investigated carrier mobility and electron-phonon interaction in tungsten carbide. The work led to a first-author publication presented at EDTM conference, and seeded my transition from materials to device-level simulation.I’m open to opportunities in advanced device research—across industry collaborations and PhD programs focused on quantum transport and device modeling.
