Tushar Anchal, Senior Technical Advisor – Child Protection with Plan International (India Chapter) Educated in Development Policy Analysis (University of Glasgow (UK)) & Post Graduate in Rural Management (from IIRM-Indian Institute of Rural Management) with supplementing degree in Law and presently working as National Advisor – Child Protection with Plan International (India Chapter). Experience in the social sector is extensively on working with the children and extends to over 18 years, specializing in working with children in need of care & protection and Program Management. Worked in different states of India on Child Protection issues and represented Plan in different International forums in institutional/individual capacity. As an expert on child protection, has been recognized by different government bodies and is nominated as a member in ‘National Advisory Committee on JJ Act & POCSO’ (2014) formed by NCPCR (National Commission for Protection of Child Rights). Along with that, instrumental in developing SAIEVAC (A SAARC body on Child Protection) chapter in India and is in advisory panel of several organizations on Child Protection issues. Developed IEC for creating awareness among common masses on POCSO, in collaboration with NCPCR. Along with that, have extensive program management experience and worked as State Manager - Uttar Pradesh (Plan & CRY) and managed office leading team of over 18 professionals with relevant function in place like admin, financi, sponsorship, program etc.
