I\'m playing a role of a Infrastructure Engineer within the Infrastructure Platform organization in JP Morgan & Chase. My responsibility for driving transformational activities - adopting to SRE practices and automation/operational efficiency programs. Part of this role, i have been driving the effort to adoption of JULES, enabling automation, event automation, control monitoring and operational governance improvement. I work as a SME of BMC Discovery, which scans IP addresses to discover hosts, software running/installed on those hosts and interdependence between them. The discovered data is consolidated and extracted it to staging database to consumed by the downstream system. Roles and Responsibilities: • SME of BMC Discovery, • Ensure all the servers in the firm get scanned via BMC Discovery and provide the scanned data to downstream system for automation, patching, Software Management, Vulnerability fixes. • Helps developers to create PR and release the code to production via JULES. • Performs upgrade to BMC Discovery appliances and update the TKU (Fingering printing codes to identify the Software instances). • Develop a Blueprint and incorporate required tools & packages to deploy on a servers. • Implement firm approved solution for Privileged Access Management (e.g gMSA, Kerberos & CyberArk). • Probe and fix any vulnerabilitybreaks associated with the application
