ABOUT TURKER SAYAR

I work in sales leadership roles across digital grid, utilities and energy infrastructure, combining an electrical engineering background with over 18 years of experience in power systems, infrastructure delivery and commercial strategy.My focus today is supporting utilities and energy companies across the UK and Ireland with digital grid solutions including meter data management, DER integration and cloud-enabled platforms. I manage complex sales cycles from early engagement through to tender submission and contract negotiation within regulated environments.Before moving fully into sales roles, I spent a number of years in bid leadership and project environments supporting large infrastructure and power system programmes. This background gives me a strong understanding of utility procurement, delivery risk and the governance required to structure successful long-term partnerships.My experience spans transmission and distribution networks, power generation, BESS, grid ancillary services and control systems including SCADA and DCS. More recently this has expanded into digital platforms supporting grid modernisation and energy transition.I’m particularly interested in digital grid transformation, flexibility markets and the integration of distributed energy resources across modern power systems.
