ABOUT TUHINA CHAND

I am a Java Backend Developer with over five years of experience across the full software development lifecycle — from concept and design to deployment and optimization. I specialize in building scalable, secure, and high-performance backend systems using modern development methodologies, tools, and microservices architecture. My strong troubleshooting and analytical skills enable me to deliver well-researched, cost-effective, and resilient solutions.Currently, I am working at Apple, contributing to backend engineering initiatives focused on building reliable, scalable, and secure systems. I collaborate across teams to design robust APIs, streamline workflows, and enhance system performance while maintaining high engineering standards.Previously, I worked at One97 Communications Ltd (Paytm), where I developed and integrated task management systems, implemented secure Bulk File Upload APIs, automated workflows, enhanced reporting modules, and managed complex functional flows using microservices. During my tenure, I was recognized as a Paytm RockStar in 2023 and 2024, and as a Paytm Rising Star in 2022.Before Paytm, I worked at Capgemini, contributing to backend development for Verizon’s DNM and One Fiber projects. I designed bulk processing systems and built reporting modules using Spring Boot and Apache Kafka. My early career also includes hands-on experience through the Nalanda Training Program and an internship with Samsung ADAS, where I strengthened my foundation in Java and web technologies.I am passionate about backend architecture, distributed systems, and continuous learning. Outside of work, I enjoy coding, reading, and staying updated with emerging technologies.
