About Tucker Gauss
Tucker Gauss is a third-year Economics and Political Science major at the University of California, Berkeley. He\'s deeply passionate about the intersection between social mobility and technology, leading a consulting project with Microsoft Education to launch two accessible, AI-based educational technology products. He also researched technology-driven solutions to homelessness, presenting his findings to the White House Office of Science and Technology Policy. Tucker aspires to design policy solutions for the economic ramifications of AI, which formed the basis of a research project he oversaw between IBM and Berkeley\'s Stone Center on Wealth Inequality.Tucker also has experience in venture capital, building automated advisor-founder pairings for Berkeley SkyDeck, the university\'s startup accelerator. He later co-founded an education startup at the European Innovation Academy, winning the annual competition with over 500 students from 85 countries. Most recently, he was appointed by Berkeley’s Economics Department to work as a Course Instructor for Macroeconomics. He is excited to further explore the economic potential of AI through policy research, legal affairs, or business strategy.
