Category Lead /Marketing, Sales, Consulting: Directly manage 10 + categories with annual savings goal $28M+. • Led the development and execution of strategic plans to exceed quarterly targets for 30 consecutive quarters, achieving 30% cost reductions, 80% spend under management, and 70% preferred supplier utilization on addressable spend of $500M across regions, business units and corporate organizations supporting hundreds of decision makers globally. • Transformed the go to market businesses through various strategic sourcing initiatives including: o $20M in Creative Services across ~60 agencies with 94% spend concentration in top 20. Surveyed 270 global stakeholders for input on agencies. Performed RFI process with 37 agencies reviewed. Agencies were evaluated holistically based on review of creative work, franchise and vertical experience, marketing wide survey, annual spend and coverage overlap. Reviewed with key stakeholders, negotiated new rates, and communicated Preferred list resulting in $2.3M in savings. o Redesigned and renegotiated Presentation vendor category to move from Deliverable based pricing to rate card model to ensure competitiveness resulting in 23% cost reduction and a total of $1.2M. o Partnered with Global Corporate Marketing, HR and Events teams to drive leading edge creative capabilities and competitive pricing in $7MM Promotional items category. After extensive RFP process and evaluation, 14 suppliers were reduced to 2 Preferreds: a model that enables competition and allows stakeholders to compete their projects both for uniqueness of offerings as well as price.
