ABOUT TUCKER GARRISON

As a Master’s candidate in Art & Museum Studies at Georgetown University, I\'m eager to advance my expertise in curatorial practice, collections management, and historical research. Concurrently, I serve as a graduate-level intern at DTR Modern Galleries\' Georgetown branch, contributing to inventory oversight, coordinating special events, fostering client relationships, and supporting gallery operations.In May 2021, I attained my Bachelor’s degree in Visual Studies with a minor in Creative Entrepreneurship from The New School in New York City, maintaining a position on the Dean’s List throughout my academic journey. During my undergraduate, I gained practical experience in managing diverse collections, including those at The Blanton Museum of Art in Austin and The Untitled Space Gallery in Tribeca, NYC. Subsequently, I took on a role as an assistant at David Benrimon Fine Art on the Upper East Side of NYC. There, I engaged daily with works by globally renowned modern and contemporary artists, such as Fernando Botero, Roy Lichtenstein, Pablo Picasso, Andy Warhol, and Tom Wesselmann. My time at DBFA instilled in me a profound appreciation for the meticulous craft of curation and exhibition design, catalyzing my pursuit of advanced education in the field.
