ABOUT TUCKER ROSE

Job/Life Experiences:I have not always been a hungry and Motivated person. In my high school years, I was forced to reflect and realize that there was untapped potential within myself that I was letting go to waste. I was able to right the ship and get the best grades of my life the past two years. I was able to transition this \"what is the next challenge\" mentality into my work. I currently work at Noroton Yacht Club as a Sailing Instructor in the summer. The reason I chose to work in this field is because of all the opportunities the sport of sailing has provided for me in my lifetime. I believe that in my younger years, it is more important to do what truly makes you happy and leaves you feeling fulfilled. For me, this is having the great pleasure of coaching and helping develop work-class sailors. My current mission is to inspire the next generation of young athletes to realize that the art of sport is far more than just a game and the lessons you learn transform lives. Educational Background:I am currently a Senior at the Greenwich Country Day School. I am a passionate, driven student who values a well-rounded, immersive educational experience. That said, I will be attending Hobart William Smith for my upcoming college years. I will be a member of their Varsity Sailing Team.
