WORK HISTORY
Chief Operations Officer @Nellis Auction
Las Vegas, NV, US
As COO of Nellis Auction, I lead the operational backbone of a fast-growing national company that offers overstock, retailer returns, and liquidation merchandise through daily online auctions and local pickup at our multiple facilities. We invite customers to bid on thousands of name-brand items daily, curating inventory from major retailers and giving goods a second chance—shopping locally, paying far less than full retail, and reducing waste in the process. I oversee 9 facilities across the U.S, and my key responsibilities include:Inbound logistics: Managing the flow of returned and overstock goods into our network.Warehousing & appointment fulfillment: Supervising all warehouse operations—storage, staging —and coordinating customer appointments for pick-ups / local fulfillment.Continuous improvement: Leading initiatives to optimize processes, reduce lead times, improve order accuracy, and scale operations as we expand.EHS (Environmental, Health & Safety): Maintaining standards and programs to ensure safety of team members, compliance, and minimizing environmental impact.Facility expansion & scaling operations: Planning and implementing growth—adding new sites, expanding existing ones, introducing new services—while retaining operational stability and quality. In this role I aim to balance operational efficiency with business continuity—making sure the business can keep running smoothly even under disruptions, scaling sustainably, and keeping customer experience strong across all locations.

ABOUT TUCKER MORGAN
I scale operations like a dad of three wrangling bedtime — fast, strategic, and with a calm voice hiding mild panic. I turn inbound chaos into outbound clarity, coach up green leaders into lean, green tactical machines, and build systems that work. I believe in data over drama, accountability over assumptions, and that “just wing it” is not a strategy (unless we’re talking family dinners). Whether it’s launching distribution centers or dragging legacy processes into the 21st century, I bring urgency, structure, and just enough sarcasm to keep it fun.
