ABOUT CLINTON CHIU

I am currently pursuing my PhD at University College London, with the invaluable guidance of EPFL and UCL and the kind support of the Branco Weiss Fellowship.Having had the privilege of exposure to different cultures, I am fortunate to be fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin (my mother tongues) as well as English (C1) and French (C1).Through my dedicated work on my PhD research, I have had the opportunity to develop strong quantitative and data analysis skills. Additionally, my experience as an ESG analyst in climate risk and return modelling within the financial industry has provided me with valuable analytical, problem-solving, and research capabilities. In my professional journey, I continually strive to foster a can-do attitude and a collaborative spirit.As a naturally curious and adaptable person, I approach challenges with an open mind and a willingness to embrace new ideas and perspectives to make a positive impact.I have excellent proficiency in Excel and have also developed advanced skills in Python, Matlab, R, and remote sensing techniques.I am genuinely passionate about applying my diverse skill set and academic background to contribute positively to my field.Please feel free to connect with me if you are interested in exploring potential collaborations or opportunities in related domains.
