As Executive Producer of Streaming at FOX 13 Seattle, I lead the team behind our live and on-demand coverage across FAST channels, CTV, mobile, and social. We’re building something different than traditional TV — faster, more flexible, more connected to the audience. Less polished rundown, more real-time decision making. Every day is a mix of-Jumping into breaking news and streaming-Rethinking formats so people actually stay and watch- Testing new ideas (some work, some don’t and that\'s ok)- Watching the data and adjusting on the fly -Coaching a team that thrives in controlled chaos I care a lot about: 1. Making local news feel relevant to people who don’t watch TV anymore 2. Building a team that’s curious, fast, and not afraid to try something different Streaming audiences are different. They expect immediacy, authenticity, and a reason to stick around. So we build for that whether it’s live coverage, original formats, or just finding better ways to tell everyday stories. We\'re streamers too. And we\'re the audience too. If we’re doing this well, local news doesn’t feel like a habit… it feels like something you want to turn on.
