ABOUT TIM KRAMER

Tim Kramer, the great-grandson of Adolph Kramer, co-founder of Draper and Kramer, Incorporated, serves as vice president and director of operations for the firm’s management services division. In his role, Tim supports the management services team in the creation of operational strategies and implementing policies and procedures aimed towards improving efficacy and efficiency within their managed CRE portfolio. Tim joined Draper and Kramer in 1993 as a leasing agent and quickly worked his way up to property manager. From there, Tim was promoted to operations specialist before stepping into his current position. As director of operations, Tim notably played an integral role in guiding the firm’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic, helping develop and implement new operational policies and protocols. He is highly regarded in the industry for his knowledge of operational efficiency and the use of property management technology, even authoring the chapter on proptech for the Institute of Real Estate Management’s textbook, Practical Apartment Management, 7th Edition. After earning his bachelor’s degree from the University of Phoenix, Tim went on to attend post-graduate studies through the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology focusing on operational efficiency. He is an Ely Chapter member of Lamda Alpha International, a global land economics society, as well as a member of Apartment Building and Owners Association (ABOMA), where he serves as a member of the board as well as vice president. Tim is also a national director and international instructor with the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM). Tim holds the Accredited Residential Manager (ARM) accreditation and the Certified Property Manager (CPM) designation with IREM.
