Long before cognition falters, neural circuits are already rewriting the trajectory of the brain.What begins as a fragile shift—a synapse drifting from homeostatic balance, a once-coherent network losing temporal synchrony, a metabolically strained neuron struggling to sustain signaling fidelity—can progressively reconfigure how memories are consolidated, how perception constructs meaning from sensory input, and how behavior emerges from coordinated neural activity. I\'m compelled to examine how these early deviations evolve within neural systems long before disease becomes clinically legible, and how microscopic instability disseminates across interconnected circuits to culminate in neurodegeneration.Through translational neuroscience research, I investigate how molecular pathology scales into systems-level dysfunction, uncovering latent biological precursors that redefine when neurological disease begins and how it can be recognized with greater precision.
