I design how a company runs when AI is the foundation, not the add-on.As COO at Change Agent AI, I run the operational side of a growing startup. On any given week that could be contracts, pricing, hiring, financial modeling, or advising our CEO. It depends on what the business needs. I build the systems that make all of it work, and most of what I build now, I build with AI.That\'s not a figure of speech. I build autonomous agents that handle financial reconciliation, pull intelligence out of unstructured data, and generate deliverables without anyone touching them. I write CLI tools when platform integrations aren\'t enough, and MCP servers when the job calls for it. I maintain real codebases on GitHub with clean structure and proper documentation, because building with AI without discipline just generates mess faster.I go deep on the models themselves. I run open-weight systems on local hardware, work across multiple model APIs, and design prompt architectures that shape latent space rather than fighting how probabilistic systems actually work. I iterate on what models do, not what I wish they\'d do. I was advising a YC machine learning company that Atlassian acquired before ChatGPT existed. This isn\'t recent curiosity.Before Change Agent, I was on the founding team at Vinyl Me, Please, where we went from zero to $15M in three years, bootstrapped. I learned enterprise at Opensense over four years, from SDR management to Director of Business Operations. I ran AI and data strategy at No Fluff Selling.My career started in nonprofit and international development, microfinance in Uganda, operations for an NGO serving orphans and vulnerable children. Change Agent is full circle. We build private AI infrastructure for nonprofits, unions, and civic organizations. Same world, 15 years later, very different toolkit.What I\'m really trying to figure out is how to make every function in a small company stronger with AI. Not chatbots. Not copilots sitting in a sidebar. AI that\'s embedded in how the work actually gets done, where a 12-person team operates with the reach of one five times its size. That\'s the problem I work on every day.Most companies bolt AI onto how they already work. I\'m building one that couldn\'t exist without it.
