About Tsetan Namdol
Tashi Delek and Hello! My name is Tsetan Namdol (she/her/མོ་). I am a graduate of American University’s School of International Service, where I earned my B.A. in International Studies with concentrations in Justice, Ethics, and Human Rights and Peace, Conflict, and Global Resolution, along with a regional focus in East Asia and the Pacific and a minor in Korean. I currently serve as an AmeriCorps educator, teaching 4th grade English Language Arts and Social Studies in Newark, NJ. In this role, I work closely with students, families, and my school community to strengthen literacy skills, support critical thinking, track scholars\' progress, and create a classroom where all students feel supported. My work is grounded in a broader commitment to community justice, grassroots organizing, and advocacy. I am passionate about program development, strategic communications, and storytelling as tools to uplift marginalized communities, particularly within diasporic and immigrant spaces. Through both my academic background and community-based work, I am interested in bridging education, policy, and advocacy to drive meaningful social impact.
